Adjacent to Bay Tree Cottage on the quiet street of Nordham lies Horseshoe Cottage, assessed 4* GOLD by Visit England. The bright kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, 4 ring ceramic hob, 2 ovens, microwave, and toaster and kettle has a separate larder has fridge, freezer and shelving. There’s a drier, air drier, iron and board. An outdoor building provides a cycle lock up.

The dining room next to the kitchen has a table to sit 6 people and a fireplace with a contemporary wood burner effect fire. The original stripped pine cupboards house games and books. A writing table holds tourist information on the area, a radio/iPod speaker and TV.

Across the hallway from the kitchen is the sitting room with a feature fireplace filled with cones. An electric flame effect fire is available for chilly nights and the smart TV is easily viewed from the two sofas. An additional two armchairs give seating for 6. With 3 TV's in the house there is no need to fight over which channel to watch!

The downstairs bathroom is at the foot of the stairs with a shower over the bath. Upstairs off the landing is a second bathroom which also has a shower over the bath.

On the upper landing at the front of the house, there is a double room with king sized bed on the left and a large twin room on the right. On the lower landing there’s a bright single room with sloping cottage ceiling.

The sunny south facing gravelled garden with topiary border, has a large table for 6 people, a west facing bench and two sunbeds.
